The Kiama Golf Club supports an array of charities, sporting groups and community based organisations, as part of the industry-wide commitment to the community.

June 2015 -Kiama Hospital Auxiliary Charity Day, although we didn't have the weather on our side we still had 123 starters, 104 of those ladies! We raised over $1700 for the hospital. Another successful year. Our staff member Brendan Mariu won a prize on the day and donated the prize back to the charity, well done the club's good work must be rubbing off.
In 2014 we hosted and supported a number of charity and community events:-
Kiama Hospital, Peterborough Disable Association, McGrath foundation,
Men of League foundation, Kiama Knights RLFC,
Kiama Downs SLSC, Kiama SLSC, Kiama High School,
Jones Beachboardriders, Kiama Show Society and Kiama Junior Cricket Club
Thanks to all that supported this day we have a lot of fun and raised over $115 with every $10 raised gives scientists 200 mini test tubes to help discover more with eye genetics.
Kiama Golf Club has hosted and successfully run a number of charity Golf Day and Charity Diners and continue to support our local sporting community.
Pink Texas Fourball - McGrath Day 2014. The Kiama Lady Veterans promoted a Pink Texas Fourball on July 12 in aid of The McGrath Foundation. Members and visitors supported the day with 198 players taking to the fairways and supporting the raffle held for the event.
Many teams dressed in pink vying for the best-dressed pink team that was won by the Burgess family from Sydney. The amount raised for the McGrath Foundation was $ 3,161, a great result!. Thank you to all the members and visitors who supported the golf day and to the many social members who supported the raffle.
KIAMA residents are again being urged to “stand their ground” when it comes to feeling comfortable with their own decisions surrounding not drinking or providing alcohol to young people.
The Kiama Stop Underage Drinking Project has updated their campaign with new posters, while utilising their website and social media to help bridge the gap between perception and reality with regard to views on underage drinking.
Our General Manager David Rootham and the Board of Directors feel it is important to give back to our local community and for a 5th consecutive year the Carols on the Green is still showing to be a wonderful and popular event for our local community.
