Course review
We received 106mm of rainfall throughout the month of May, the course is in good condition as we enter the winter months with good grass coverage across most areas of the course.
Our wintergrass control program is in full swing with pre emergent herbicide used on Tees, fairways and green surrounds and it appears to be working well.
Our greens programs are also working as expected with our main focus on water infiltration and trying to maintain a firmer surface which can be difficult if the frequency of rainfall is high.
Traffic management will be a key maintenance task to reduce heavy wear in high traffic areas throughout the cooler months.
